The Youth Climate Councils Global Alliance (YCCGA) collaborates with local and sub-national government offices, municipalities/cities and youth climate movements to establish institutionalized mechanisms for meaningful youth participation and inclusion in climate policy making across all levels. Through replication, engagement building, and cross-regional advocacy, the YCCGA aims to boost sustainable change and foster inclusive decision-making processes for a resilient future.

To facilitate the replication of institutionalized Youth Climate Councils (YCCs) in various regions and countries to ensure effective youth engagement in climate action and local policy-making processes.
To foster the active engagement and participation among Youth Climate Councils through shared experiences and knowledge, providing innovative ideas to effectively build policy advocacy and climate action initiatives.
To facilitate cross-regional collaboration and policy advocacy initiatives, building a collective effort to address global climate challenges and promote youth-led solutions
To strengthen youth engagement in the climate discourse at all levels of governance through the promotion of an active involvement in local and national climate policy and decision-making processes.
